These are some common problems that our lips often face. Now let us look for some preventive measures.
Some easy effective solutions which can help you to get rid of all such problems will be:
- Stop licking your mouth quite often. Many of us have this habit of continuously lick our own lips as we find it as pleasure and instant hydrated as well. We should understand this is unhealthy practice.
- Never breathe with open mouth. This takes away the moisture of your mouth making your lips more dry.
- When you kiss someone, make sure it is moisturized as dry chapped lips spread infections easily and are vulnerable.
- Keep yourself hydrated. Drink at least 4–5 liters of water everyday.
- Include necessary vitamins and minerals in your diet. Vitamin D and B should be necessarily taken in.
- Don’t sleep without taking out your makeup by makeup remover. If you don’t have makeup remover, you can use dab a cotton in coconut oil or almond oil and clean your lipstick.
- Always carry lip balm, so in case when you feel like licking, you can apply lip balm to keep it moisturized.
Some of my personal favorite lip balms are:
